      Hi Peter,

      I think I’d have to say some animal cells because they just have a mind of their own! We were doing some experiments to test some new materials we’d made. We wanted to find out if these materials had any negative effects on these animal cells, osteoblasts from mice (bone forming cells), before we could use the material in people.

      Working with cells can be quite difficult because they are really small and you have to be very gentle when you handle them so you don’t kill or damage them.
