      Absolutely!!

It is so rewarding, a lot of fun and really enjoyable. The people I work with are great too – lots of support, friendly and just a great laugh!

I have lots of opportunities to do lots of different things with my work, and to travel to lots of places to present my work, so I would definitely recommend doing it!

A PhD is a big commitment, it’s a 3 year long project that you have to guide yourself. It can be a little daunting at times bt it is great to develop yourself as a person and as an engineer. I’ve learn so many thing and had so many opportunities in the last 2.5 years that i don’t think i could have got doing anything else.

      Hi Baller.lds,

For sure!! I really love my job; it’s very varied, I get to meet lots of interesting people, travel, spend time experimenting in the lab with cool materials and equipment… It’s great!

      Are you interested in engineering?

      Of course!

You get to play with 3D printers and you help people to be able to walk. Who wouldn’t?
