• Question: would you ever work as a teacher?

      Hi Sharkie,

      I kind of already work as a teacher just not in schools but at a university. Part of my word as a lecturer is to do research but I also teach our undergraduate engineering students.

    When I was in university, I wanted to be a secondary teacher! I then did some work in the lab for a project, and decided that this is actually where I want to spend the rest of my life.

    But, there are aspects of teaching throughout this PhD too – we get to demonstrate to students, teach them, lecture to them etc – which is all very similar, just a more in depth level than schools 🙂
